Columbus, OH —

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is pleased to announce its Franklin's MBA cohort based in Muscat, Oman has earned a Global Top 25 rankling for their recent GLO-BUS performance (week of 1/9-1/15).

GLO-BUS is a global business simulation designed by McGraw-Hill to educate students in business strategy, and is used as part of the Franklin MBA capstone. In this completely online exercise, teams of students run an imaginary digital camera company in head-to-head competition against companies run by other class members. Companies are ranked using five criteria: earnings per share, credit rating, stock price, return on equity, and image rating.

The partnership to offer the Franklin MBA to students in Oman through the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) was first announced five years ago. Since that time, a total of 12 MBA cohorts have or are going through the program.

Through this recent ranking, the MCBS Franklin MBA cohort adds to accolades received by Franklin’s global MBA cohort at the Wroclaw School of Banking (WSB) in Poland who in 2011, won the GLO-BUS competition finishing first out of 491 teams from 51 colleges and universities.

Congratulations to this extraordinary group of international MBA students!
