Columbus, Ohio - Franklin University, central Ohio's leading educator of working adults, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Jan Lyddon as its Director of Institutional Effectiveness.
Dr. Lyddon comes to Franklin University from San Jacinto College where she served as Executive Vice President of Research and Institutional Effectiveness. Her nearly two decades in higher education include serving as Director of Institutional Research and Planning at Jackson Community College, Chief Research and Information Officer with the Connecticut Department of Higher Education, and Director of Planning and Institutional Research at Saginaw Valley State University.
"I view my new role as an exciting opportunity to help Franklin University create a strategic plan that includes a shared vision and commitment from all stakeholders," Dr. Lyddon said. "Over time, I envision the role expanding to include support in the execution of these strategies."
Dr. Lyddon earned a Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Michigan, a master's of public administration from Western Michigan University, a master's degree in adult and continuing education from Michigan State University, and a bachelor's degree in family environment from Iowa State University.
