April Hall Leadership Lessons to Feature Jack Park

Columbus, Ohio - Hall Leadership Lessons, a free community leadership forum provided by the Franklin University Leadership Center, will feature Jack Park, Sports Historian, Author, and Professional Speaker, during its next forum on Thursday, April 9.  The session, held from 7:30-8:30 a.m. will be held in Franklin University's Ross Auditorium on the Main Campus, downtown, located at 301 E. Rich St.

There are multiple common threads between championship football teams and high-performance organizations.  Success on the football field and in the business world begins with effective leadership at all levels.  Combining his understanding of business and his professional insight into American football, Park clearly describes many practical methods for improving organizational performance.

In 1989 Park founded Financial Insights, a consulting and educational development firm, after serving twenty-two years with four major corporations. His Certified Speaking Professional designation (CSP) has been granted to fewer than seven percent of the 3,500 members of the National Speakers Association.

Park is the author of The Official Ohio State Football Encyclopedia and The Ohio State University Football Vault. He is featured frequently in college football programming on ESPN and HBO. His daily radio commentaries have been a mainstay of Ohio State Football for the past 30 seasons.

He received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and his B.S. in accounting from The Ohio State University. His corporate experience included positions of CFO, Vice-President of Finance, Controller, Director of Business Planning, Manager of Cost Accounting, and Manager of Internal Auditing. His professional memberships include the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, the National Speakers Association, and the Football Writers Association of America.
