Columbus, Ohio - On Wednesday, November 4, 2009, Franklin University will host the first in a series of Change Leadership Symposiums that will bring together organization and community leaders working on change initiatives. This diverse group of process leaders will work together to create a knowledge sharing network of transformers that united will create a greater level of change.
|
The Symposium will examine change leadership as it relates to democratic governance by looking at the continuing movement into a knowledge era and how individuals choose to structure their relationships as they organize with others. As democratic governance continues to gain in popularity as an approach to community governance, an increasing number of stakeholders will become involved in decision making processes, creating the need to empower teams and increase collaboration among organizational stakeholders who hold different goals.
The Change Leadership Symposium will examine a number of issues within the framework of the greater change process already underway by seeking to build a holistic understanding that incorporates leading edge thinking about change processes.
