Presents FREE December/January Events

 

Columbus, Ohio - Franklin University's Center for Professional Training & Development will host six free events this December and January designed to help boost career mobility and maintain a competitive edge.

Thursday, Dec. 3: Quality Management
Understand the importance of an effective quality management process and techniques for ensuring ongoing quality effectiveness.

Wednesday, Dec. 9:Time Management
Identify major barriers to effective time management while learning how to plan your time more effectively and how to measure improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.

Thursday, Dec. 10*:OSHA Workshop: Lock-Out/Tag-Out and Machine Guarding
Increase your awareness of the importance of lock-out/tag-out and machine guarding for the safety of you and your employees.

Wednesday, Jan. 13:The Customer-Driven Organization
Learn what characterizes a customer-driven organization and learn how to improve work processes and procedures to ensure the best possible service to customers.

Wednesday, Jan. 20:Selling Professional Services
Acquire the skills and knowledge you need to ensure that your products and services are held in high esteem by your internal and external customers

Wednesday, Jan. 27: Customer Relationship Management
Enhance your personal customer-relationship skills and learn how to introduce a customer-relationship management program that will significantly enhance how your internal and external customers value your service.

Workshops are held from 9 a.m. - noon on Franklin University's Main Campus, downtown in Ross Auditorium in Alumni Hall, 301 E. Rich St. (* OSHA workshops are held in Phillips Hall, Room 220, from 9-11 a.m.).
