Columbus State and Franklin University
Expand their 3+1 Partnership

(Columbus, Ohio) - As more students than ever turn to community colleges for an affordable education, two leading institutions of higher education in central Ohio are expanding and extending an already successful partnership.

Columbus State Community College (CSCC) and Franklin University will unveil specific details of their newly-expanded 3+1 partnership during a joint news conference on Monday, March 2, 2009.  Dr. Val Moeller, President, CSCC and Dr. David Decker, President, Franklin University, will sign a revitalized agreement to extend their continued partnership.

Originally signed in 1999, this expanded agreement offers students of all Columbus State majors, the opportunity to complete their Associate degrees at Columbus State, followed by a third year of course work at Columbus State toward their bachelor's degree, and a fourth year at Franklin University studying any of its 21 undergraduate majors.
