Franklin University Appoints Director of Suburban Locations

Columbus, Ohio – Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Grove as Director of Suburban Locations. With an extensive background in education and management, Grove’s employee-focus and charismatic personality will bring a renewed sense of purpose and community to the University’s three Central Ohio suburban locations.
As Director of Suburban Locations, Grove will have responsibility for Undergraduate and Graduate enrollment growth, relationship-building and partnership development with community corporations and organizations, team-development, and operational oversight of Franklin University’s suburban locations.
“I am excited to work for Franklin University and the suburban location staff members,” said Grove. “I have a strong commitment to expanding educational opportunities for working adults and am dedicated to connecting Franklin and our students as a community.”
Grove most recently worked in the field of higher education for the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and Pharmacy and for Malone College, and in software support and educational project leader for the State of Ohio and Lake Geauga Computer Association. As a true philanthropist, Grove volunteers her time with a number of groups including the Alopecia Areata Foundation and the Akron Children's Hospital Tree Festival.
She earned a Master of Education Degree in Instructional Technology and an Associate of Business degree in Business and Technology from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Malone University.
