Franklin University Launches International Subsequent Degree Program
—
(Columbus, OH, Poland, and Nepal) Franklin University is proud to announce the start of its international Business Administration (BSAD) Subsequent Degree program, providing further access to educational opportunities for a global audience of students. Through this new offering, students at Franklin’s international partnership institutions can now earn a subsequent degree in BSAD by taking courses on Franklin’s Main Campus in Columbus, Ohio or through courses offered online in their home country. Courses are taught in English in both the on campus and online delivery options.
Eager to take advantage of this new subsequent degree option in order to broaden her global perspective, Mirella Jurasik arrived on Franklin’s Main Campus in downtown Columbus, Ohio (United States) this month from the Wroclaw School of Banking (WSB) in Poland. In addition to already holding a Masters in Finance and Accounting from WSB, Mirella holds the distinction of being the first student to take advantage of the program’s on campus course option.
Taking advantage of the online delivery format, forty-three students from the Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management in Nepal have also started their BSAD Subsequent Degree coursework. Once their first class is completed, these students will be assigned to online classes with other online students who reside in the United States.
Universities large and small have felt the growing influence of a world market. Franklin University's global academic programs are redefining the term "global" in terms of educational access, academic quality, and global sustainability.
The addition of this new Subsequent Degree program demonstrates Franklin University’s commitment to serving the needs of international students from all walks of life, all around the world – in on-campus environments and in online classrooms.
