General Raymond E. Mason

Columbus, Ohio – COLUMBUS – Dr. David R. Decker, President, Franklin University made the following statement today regarding the death of General Raymond E. Mason, Jr. who served as Chairman of the Franklin Board of Trustees from 1985-1986:

“General Raymond E. Mason will be sadly missed by the members of the Franklin University community and by those who benefited from the wisdom of his leadership.  His dedication to providing higher-education opportunities is surpassed only by his commitment to raising the level of leadership in central Ohio.  We offer our sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of General Raymond E. Mason and are deeply saddened by his loss.”
