Franklin University, Human Capital Institute and Sequent Offer
'Managing Across Generations' Networking Event

 

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Franklin University, central Ohio's leading educator of working adults, the Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and think tank that is advancing the science of strategic talent management, and Sequent Inc., a consulting and outsourcing services firm helping organizations improve corporate performance through the integration of people strategies, process management and technology will host an expert presentation on managing across generations at a November 12, 2008 B-School Network and Learn event.

The networking and breakfast event, open to interested professionals from throughout the greater Columbus
area, will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Franklin University's Ross Auditorium, 301 E. Rich St..

Organizational transformation expert and author, Tom Casey, will lead a discussion focused on how managers can attract and engage the up-and-coming Millennial Generation, soon to be the dominant generation in America's workforce, while developing them into the future leaders who will be handed the reins as the Baby Boomers, and not long after, the Generation Xers, head into retirement. Casey will also present valuable insights into how to integrate the varied work styles of these multiple generations without causing workplace discontent. Casey is Principal of The Concours Group and Managing Principal with Discussion Partner Collaborative, an Executive Advisory firm focused on Human Capital Strategy and Executive Development.
