Columbus, Ohio - Franklin University, central Ohio's leading educator of working adults, is proud to announce the appointment of Julie Barry as its new Director of Alumni Relations.
Julie comes to Franklin University not only as the Director of Alumni Relations, but also as an alum, having earned her MBA from Franklin.
Julie embodied the typical Franklin student. "Like most Franklin students," she said, "I had been out of the classroom for several years when I decided to go back to school and focus on my education. I fully understand and appreciate the dedication it takes to be a working adult with multiple priorities while also pursuing a degree."
Julie comes to Franklin from Bexley Hall Seminary where she served as an Institutional Advancement Consultant, organizing alumni relations and donor and annual fund activities. She has also held the position of Director of Development at both Central Community House and Hope Street Kids.
"With a new president and new strategy for growth, we're at the edge of a new era," she said. "I want to tap into that excitement and share it with our alumni and others. I think we're not only going to sustain Franklin's standing in the community, but throughout the world, taking our reputation to the next level. My goal is to help connect the global network of alumni to Franklin and each other."
