Tutoring
Free tutoring is provided at the Student Learning Center (SLC) to students currently enrolled in Accounting. The Tutoring Schedule lists supplemental instruction sessions that are specifically offered for Financial Accounting students.
How did you do on the math pre-test given the first day of class?
If you could use some help brushing up on your math skills, check out the times for math tutoring. You can review additional math problems similar to the pre-test problems that are available on the math worksheet.
Student Learning Center resources
The Student Learning Center has two copies of videotapes on the Accounting Cycle. The video can help you understand how accounting information is collected and put together in various accounting reports.
The Accounting Virtual Tutor offers information on accounting principles relative to Accounting 215 and 225 and helps with student recollection by providing presentations on measuring, processing, and communicating financial statements.
The SLC has additional accounting textbooks available at the front desk. Stop in and check them out to see concepts explained in a different way! You may also benefit from our Accounting and Finance Workshops.
