Workshops at the SLC
The SLC offers you more than 43 separate workshops per trimester. Workshops generally fall under two categories: skill building workshops and test preparation workshops.
Skill building workshops help you learn skills that can be applied to multiple courses and disciplines. Some examples of skill building workshops are:
- APA
- Writing and Researching Effectively
- Test Taking strategies
- Study Skills workshops
- Essentials of College Writing
- Computer Skills
Test-preparation workshops are geared towards the material in a specific course. We currently offer regular test preparation workshops for the following courses:
- Accounting 215 and 225
- Math 150 and 215
