Adjunct Faculty - Applied Statistics
Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach graduate level Applied Statistics course in an online format (12 weeks) beginning Fall 2020. This is one of the core research courses included in Franklin’s online doctoral programs.
Requirements for this position include a Ph.D in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related area with at least three years of online teaching experience in this area. If the degree is in a related area, the candidate should have at least 18 graduate credit hours in the field of Mathematics, Statistics or Quantitative Methods. Knowledge and efficient use of some statistical software such as SPSS, R, Excel, SAS or others are also required.
In addition to the educational qualifications described above, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills, work ethics and passion to teach Statistics to busy working adult students with flexibility and integrity.
