Adjunct Faculty - Business Analytics

Franklin University invites applicants to apply for part-time Adjunct Faculty position(s) teaching one (or more) courses online for our new MS in Business Analytics program.  

The courses within the Business Analytics program include: Introduction to Analytics, Issues in Database Management, Data Visualization & Presentation, Big Data Analytics, Marketing Management & Analytics, Financial Decision Modeling, Business Analytics Strategy, and a capstone course. In particular, we are interested in applicants to teach Business Analytics Strategy and Capstone. Position Requirements: A Doctoral degree, in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline is required.  Candidates with experience in business applications of data science, data analytics, data visualization and machine/statistical learning are preferred. Educational background should include at least 18 graduate credit hours in one of the aforementioned fields.  Five or more years’ experience directly related to the course outcomes. 

The program will also offer a graduate certificate in SAS Data Analytics. The candidate should have knowledge and experience with this software, especially with SAS Visual Analytics, VIYA, and Enterprise Miner. Other software, analytics tools and languages used include Tableau, Hadoop, R, and Python and the faculty candidate is expected to be comfortable with using and teaching these.  Teaching experience at the college or university level in the classroom and online preferred. Familiarity with multiple learning management systems and teaching related technologies. Industry certifications relevant to the course is preferred.
