Adjunct Faculty-Business Principles

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach an undergraduate Business Principles course as part of our prison education program located in College Hall at the London Correctional Institute (LoCI) in London, Ohio.  This 12-week course will be taught in a face-to-face format beginning with our Fall 2021 term. Classes are typically held one night per week but there is flexibility in when the course can be offered. The successful applicant will receive training on how to interact with inmates.

This is an introductory business course that helps students learn business terminology and provides preliminary study into the areas of economics, global business, ethics, business ownership, business management, human resource management, marketing, accounting and finance.  

Requirements for this position include a Master’s degree in Business Administration with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Business Administration/Management or a related academic area with at least 5 years of experience in business administration and management.  Excellent teaching evaluations and previous teaching experience are also required.
