Adjunct Faculty-Database Management

Franklin University seeks applicants for part-time faculty positions to teach online, face-to-face and hybrid classes of Database Management in our Masters of Science in Computer Science program.  This 12 week course focuses on the fundamental design considerations in a database, including ERD, relational modeling, relational algebra, SQL, normalization, optimization, refactoring, and advanced topics in NoSQL and data mining and will be offered each term beginning with Fall.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in computer science or closely related areas. A master's degree in computer science with strong expertise and work experience is also considered. Teaching experience is highly desirable. Preferences will be given to candidates who can teach face-to-face/hybrid at the downtown campus in Columbus, Ohio.
