Adjunct Faculty-Introduction to Sociology

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach an undergraduate Introduction to Sociology course as part of our prison education program located in College Hall at the London Correctional Institute (LoCI) in London, Ohio.  This 6-week course will be taught in a face-to-face format beginning with our Fall 2023 term. Classes typically meet one day per week during daytime or evening hours. The successful applicant will receive training on how to interact with inmates.

Preferred qualifications for the position include a doctorate degree in sociology or a closely related field. However, all will be considered who have at least 18+ graduate-level credit hours in sociology or a closely related field. Excellent teaching evaluations and previous online teaching experience are also required.
