Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Mathematics courses ranging from Fundamental Algebra, a Mathematics course covering Introductory and Intermediate Algebra, to Discrete Mathematics. These courses will be taught online during our Spring term.
Requirements for this position include at least a Master’s degree in Mathematics, with at least three years of online teaching experience in Mathematics. If the candidate has a Master’s degree in another field, the candidate must have completed at least 18 hours of graduate level coursework in Mathematics. Computer literacy, proficient use of MS Word and Excel and a desire to teach adult student learners are also required.
In addition to the educational qualifications described above, the candidate should have some experience with various online learning products (e.g., ALEKS), graphing calculators and should have an excellent work ethic and passion to teach Mathematics and statistics to busy working adult students with flexibility and integrity.
