Administrative Assistant to the Vice President Financial Services and Investments
Franklin University has a full-time position available as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Financial Services and Investments. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Financial Services department and involves a variety of support tasks related to scheduling, reporting, communications and facilitating transactions. The incumbent is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and provides leadership to others in the department with regard to certain policy adherence. Additionally, this position is central in maintaining the University’s periodic contact with our Financial Services business partners, including investment managers (seven investment firms), bank representatives (three banks), and insurance representatives.
This position also provides support of the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees with the development of relevant information and schedules to inform the Committee’s/Board’s governance and decisioning. In addition, the Administrative Assistant records and develops meeting minutes for both the Finance Committee and the Audit, Controls & Compliance Committee.
We seek someone with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience as an Administrative Assistant for this key role. Previous experience supporting a Finance/Investment group would be a plus in this position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have an eye for continuous improvement, and be nimble to adjust to changing priorities within the department.
