Administrative Assistant to the VP, Student Affairs & Enrollment Management
Franklin University has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to the VP of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management. Under the direct supervision of the VP the Administrative Assistant will assist with strategic initiatives and planning in addition to providing administrative support to the VP and the department. The assistant will prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and draft correspondences as needed. The selected individual will be responsible for managing calendars and deadlines, ensuring the Vice President is apprised of and adequately prepared for calendar commitments. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will coordinate and book travel, process invoices, organize the budget process, and reconcile expenses. The position requires confidentiality and discretion in all matters along with a warm, friendly demeanor and a spirit of customer service. The assistant will plan, support, and attend events and meetings supported by Student Affairs & Enrollment Management as needed.
We seek a self-starter with a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of previous experience as an administrative assistant. The selected individual will be team-oriented, have a strong customer-centered philosophy, outstanding organizational skills, possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced executive's office and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. The position also requires someone who is detail-oriented, can work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to anticipate needs of the Vice President.
