Assistant Director of Marketing
Franklin University has an opening for an Assistant Director of Marketing (ADM). This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of market plans and strategies that build on Franklin’s market awareness, generate demand and build enrollment pipelines necessary to achieve enrollment, marketing spend and ROI goals. This includes the evaluation of market research, prospective student decision-making and funnel behavior, and competitor data to inform plans. The ADM manages cross-functional communication to ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables to support plans and initiatives, as well as reports on status and results. The ADM reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.
We seek someone with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in educational marketing, admissions, or brand/product marketing management. A Master’s degree is preferred. The selected individual will have the ability to implement and oversee research-based strategies focused on meeting marketing objectives and achieving enrollment goals. He/she will have an understanding of market and demographic research, and experience with advertising, website functionality, email marketing and social media. The Assistant Director must be highly articulate and persuasive verbally and in all written formats. Writing/Proofreading experience with knowledge of AP Style is a plus. In addition, he/she must have the ability to make data-driven decisions based on metrics and return-on-investment reporting and models. Experience in higher education would be desirable in this position.
