Benefits & Wellness Specialist
Franklin University has a full-time position available as a Benefits & Wellness Specialist. The Benefits & Wellness Specialist provides day to day support to the Benefits Team in the area of benefits administration for our benefits-eligible workforce of approximately 300 employees, as well as assistance with all wellness initiatives and events. This position is an important component of the Human Resources team and is actively involved in various activities within the department, providing assistance with office coverage and other special projects, as needed ,across all disciplines.
This position works closely with the Benefits & Wellness Manager as well as the Director of HCM and Benefits & Wellness to accurately and efficiently assist with administration of all aspects of the University’s benefit offerings, while providing excellent customer service to the University’s work force.
The selected individual must have previous administrative office experience with proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. We seek someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer-centered philosophy who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently for this position. The Benefits & Wellness Specialist must be flexible with the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment and must operate with a high degree of confidentiality and trust given the sensitive nature of the benefits information that will be dealt with. We prefer someone with a minimum of an Associate’s degree for this position.
