Call Center Representative
Franklin University has a full-time position available as a Call Center Representative. This individual is the first point of contact for incoming calls to the University and is responsible for answering calls in a high-volume call center, providing exceptional customer service by triaging calls, reviewing student information and requirements, scheduling appointments, utilizing different databases, assisting with special projects and outreach initiatives, and working with other areas of the university including providing back-up support to the in person Welcome Center.
The selected individual will work three days per week from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., one day per week from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and one day per week from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of prior customer service experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, a commitment to customer service and satisfaction, strong attention to detail, self-sufficiency in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, a strong comfort level with technology, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other team members and departments on a regular basis.
We prefer someone who has prior experience utilizing a CRM (Constituent Relationship Management System) and Ellucian Colleague that is actively pursuing a degree for this position.
