Center for Teaching Excellence Specialist
Franklin University’s International Institute for Innovative Instruction has an opening for a Center of Teaching Excellence (CTE) Specialist who will be responsible for providing strong administrative, data entry, and customer service support to the Center for Teaching Excellence and across the Franklin enterprise. This position will be responsible for enrolling participants into the onboarding and faculty development trainings, supporting global staffing, and assisting in assuring instructional quality within international teaching partnerships. In addition, the Center Specialist will be responsible for pairing all new adjunct faculty with an instructional coach and processing information in a timely manner. Finally, the Center Specialist will provide support for event coordination for the International Institute for Innovative Instruction (i4), including the Franklin Scholars Showcase.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with prior experience in administrative support and event planning. In addition, strong analytical and customer service skills are required as this position will be responsible for communicating with faculty and will work collaboratively on special projects as a representative of the University in the context of the broader community. The ability to adapt quickly and work under ambitious deadlines is a must in this position.
The ideal candidate will have highly developed organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to provide high-quality customer service, maintain confidentiality, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked innovative environment is imperative. Previous human resources experience would be a plus in this position.
