College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology Work Study Assistant (Mathematics)

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology (Mathematics) Department is seeking a highly motivated Franklin University work study student who will assist the department by providing administrative support to the Mathematics Faculty. The position will work under the supervision of the Mathematics Program Chair.

 

Primary work assignments and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Copying, sorting, scanning and collating; Scheduling meetings, Preparing large mailings, Filing (electronic and paper) and note-taking. The assistant would also help review Math Documents and assist with other special projects as assigned

 

Work Hours: Hours of work will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department.  The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5.

Qualifications: Candidate must be detail oriented, dependable, able to multi-task, and proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. Candidates must also display strong communication and problem- solving skills as well as the ability to work with confidential documents.

 

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
