Community College Regional Manager
Franklin University currently has a position available for a Community College Regional Manager (CCRM) based in western Cuyahoga county or Lorain county, Ohio. The CCRM is responsible for new student recruitment and enrollment at multiple community college locations in Ohio including but not limited to Tri-C, Lakeland, Owens and North Central State College. The position manages the relationship development, recruiting, marketing and new student enrollment of students transferring from partner institutions.
Primary responsibilities include identification, prospecting, and qualification of new undergraduate student enrollment opportunities. The CCRM develops and implements recruiting, marketing and communication strategies to promote and successfully enroll students in colocation online and onsite classes and recruits and advises students from prospect through first-term registration. He/she must understand transfer curriculum and advising methodologies. In addition, the CCRM promotes the value of Franklin’s educational programs to CCA faculty and staff and initiates, develops and enhances relationships with them to increase new student enrollment opportunities and referrals. The CCRM develops strategic engagement plans and tactics for territory that aligns with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and University goals. The CCRM is also responsible for reviewing market analyses, monitoring competitive activity and proactively identifying CCA Partner needs. He/she will manage undergraduate student leads for multiple locations through use of a CRM tool.
The position requires daily travel and 40-50 hour work weeks which may include evening hours at the community colleges.
This position requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to communicate professionally, persuasively and confidently with proven ability to develop new relationships contributing to meeting or exceeding goals. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Public Relations is required with a Master’s degree being preferred. Preference will be given to someone with a minimum of 4 years of experience in admissions, recruitment and relationship development. The selected candidate should have demonstrated experience leveraging a CRM tool to guide day-to-day activities. In-depth knowledge of the university academic model, as may be gained through experience as either alumni or faculty, is strongly preferred. The position requires someone with excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point as well as highly developed analytical skills. The Community College Regional Manager must remain flexible with his/her schedule to accommodate evening and weekend functions and adaptive to changes that occur to their assigned territory and travel that is required. In addition, a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report is required as part of the background check process as well as throughout the duration of employment in this position as a company car will be provided for daily business travel.
