Coordinator, The Center for Public Safety and Cybersecurity Education
Franklin University has an opening for a Coordinator, The Center for Public Safety and Cybersecurity Education (CPSCE). This individual will be responsible for the management of everyday operations of the CPSCE which houses all related academic and non-credit programs, grant operations, and the cybersecurity technology lab. This includes assisting with budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and reporting in collaboration with other University departments. He/she will communicate effectively with a diverse workforce including students, employees, external partners, faculty and the general public and will interpret and implement policy by establishing operational procedures which promote efficiency. The selected individual will also be responsible for initiating and fostering relationships with our partner companies once the business has been obtained and for administering CPSCE programs. Other responsibilities include coordinating all activities associated with making sure instructors are identified, books are available and instructors have everything they need to deliver a successful student experience whether online or face-to-face. The Coordinator will assist with marketing programs and offerings and will maintain records and reports for certification and assessment purposes. He/she will prepare and conduct preliminary analysis on financial reports and assist with application for and management of grants for the Center.
We seek someone with a Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree being preferred. The selected individual must have excellent operational and business process skills as well as highly developed relationship management skills in order to be successful in this position. In addition, we require someone with excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills who can manage multiple projects, follow-through and meet established timelines. He/she must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office as well as work well in a dynamic, team environment.
