Franklin University has a position available as the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) Coordinator. This individual serves as the database coordinator and credentialing/scheduling point of contact for the Franklin enterprise. The selected individual will be responsible for following a prescribed process to verify teaching credentials, manage, and maintain electronic and paper credentialing files, schedule instructors, and engage daily with faculty. In addition, the CTE Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely report information and analysis of faculty data for internal and external sources while also engaging in editorial reviews of policies and proposals, and serving as a coordinator in teaching-related projects. The position will require very occasional hours outside of normal business hours.
We seek someone with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) with 5 or more years of professional experience for this role. He/she must be flexible, have strong detail-orientation and tracking capabilities, a strong customer-centered philosophy, the ability to work with a diverse group of constituents, superb communication and interpersonal skills, and highly developed skills with Microsoft Excel and Word. In addition, the position requires someone with excellent analytical skills who is capable of maintaining confidentiality. Experience working with individuals from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds would be a plus in this position.
