Email Marketing Coordinator
Franklin University has a position available as an Email Marketing Coordinator who is responsible for the majority of the Franklin marketing funnel. The Coordinator is responsible for nurturing Franklin’s site traffic into new inquiry and applicant leads and using Franklin’s CRM technology and owned media tools to move leads to students. The Coordinator will seek to optimize the use of CRM for lead engagement, mailer and campaign optimization across devices, timing and frequency of communication, organization of segmentation and personalization strategy, and collaboration in the development of use of email. This role may require occasional hours outside of normal business hours, often during project implementation windows.
The position requires someone with a BA/BS or equivalent working experience with a master’s degree being preferred. We seek someone with a passion for building and managing processes and communications to engage, nurture and move prospective students toward enrollment. The Email Marketing Coordinator must have strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner across functions. The selected individual must have knowledge of marketing funnels, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and analytics. Prior experience developing and managing email and/or canned response mailers and campaigns is required. The Coordinator must understand digital channel disciplines including search, online advertising, video, and digital targeting and have an appreciation for off-line channels, including telemarketing, and how they integrate with digital to create integrated multi-channel programs. The Coordinator will also have an understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics and be highly analytical to be able to derive meaning from data through reporting, testing and email optimization. Prior experience with marketing automation platforms such as Adobe (formerly Marketo), Eloqua, Pardot, Act-On and Slate is preferred.
