Learning Commons Student Assistant

Franklin University is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual for a part-time SLC Front Desk Assistant at our Main Campus, Downtown.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Greeting students/staff/visitors to Fisher Hall, welcoming and directing vendors and visitors to building, answering phones, responding to emails, completing Target Outreach Calls, troubleshooting SLC equipment, including student computers and printers, making/confirming tutoring appointments, managing daily tutoring schedules, and pulling and organizing academic support data.

 

The successful candidate must be a current Franklin student and in good academic standing, able to work both as part of a team as well as independently, possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and be able to manage time effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service to all customers. Must be proficient with the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, and have the ability to learn additional software applications.

 

The ideal candidate will work up to 19 hours per week, and have a flexible schedule including evening and weekend availability.
