Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing department's initiatives with project managing, executing, and tracking of marketing programs and tasks. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assessing incoming requests, planning, and implementation of said requests/projects. The role requires a high level of organization, active engagement and high levels of communication and will serve as a liaison between the marketing department and freelancers, vendors, students, faculty and staff collaborating to produce marketing collateral and content. Attention to detail is essential in this role. The person must possess both creative as well as analytical skills to recommend solutions and use data-driven insights. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field and at least three years of marketing experience. We seek someone with excellent writing and communication skills to articulate clearly with internal teams and various departments. This individual must have strong organization and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across functions. Prior experience planning, managing and coordinating marketing events and/or creative shoots is required. The Marketing Coordinator must have knowledge of integrated marketing tactics across offline and digital channels. Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
