Marketing Coordinator

Franklin University has a part-time (24 hours per week) remote position available for a Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Program Marketing Manager, this position will provide project management and coordination efforts to the marketing manager.  The role requires a high level of organization, active engagement, and communication. Attention to detail is essential in this role. The person must possess creative and analytical skills to recommend solutions and use data-driven insights. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 

Primary duties include problem-solving and brainstorming with the marketing teams to meet the demands of the industry and position Franklin as a relative and undisputed choice for college applicants; managing timelines for projects and initiatives to ensure projects expectations are met; performing New Program Launch Support activities as assigned by the Program Marketing Manager; researching the competitive landscape, market and consumer trends, and preparing reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data; and assisting with clients, assessing requests, and serving as an intermediary in task implementation.

We seek a self-motivated individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field with 2+ years of marketing experience running independent projects in a mid-large-size company to include analysis, market research, and searching the competitive landscapes.  The selected individual will have experience working cross-functionally and knowledge of integrated marketing tactics across offline and digital channels.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent writing and communication skills are expected.  The Marketing Coordinator will have the ability to work independently as well as with a team to problem-solve, develop content and execute strategic marketing initiatives.  The position requires strong organizational and time-management skills as well as the ability to research and communicate findings through presentations or well-organized documents.  The Marketing Coordinator must be proficient in prioritizing and coordinating multiple projects and work demands.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus in this position.

A great deal of flexibility exists with regard to work days and scheduled hours for this position.
