Office of International Students and Programs (OISP) Coordinator
Franklin University has a full-time position available as an Office of International Students and Programs (OISP) Coordinator. This position will be responsible for building relationships with international students both domestically and internationally to market and grow Franklin University programs as well as aiding in the development and maintenance of both new and existing global partnerships.
Representative duties include managing admissions for international students, global partnerships, and other partner programs of study; conducting appointments with potential students interested in continuing education with Franklin University; reviewing international documents for eligibility and authenticity; implementing academic plans for international and global program students; developing efficient global partner liaison relationships to increase growth in programs and participation; maintaining relationships with global program liaisons to resolve student and program issues; utilizing immigration knowledge and experience to advise students on F1 visa process and status; managing outreach and admissions for defined group of international students to focus on growth and retention; and completing all SEVIS DSO current training modules/maintaining DSO status.
We seek someone with a Master’s degree and 3 + years of previous experience in Education, Higher Education, or International Education for this position. Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident (DHS eligibility requirements) and have excellent communication skills, project management knowledge, and MS Office mastery.
Second language skills, international work experience, intercultural communication training, Datatel Colleague experience, Slate CRM User experience and On-Base Document Management experience would all be pluses in this position.
