Franklin University has a position available for a Payroll Manager. Responsibilities include supervising the Payroll Analyst and overseeing and assisting with the processing of a semi-monthly multi-state payroll, reconciling withholding accounts, managing and processing health and benefit premiums, reporting compliance, setting up and maintaining employee payroll files, answering staff and faculty payroll related questions, and assisting in implementing improvements to systems, policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of related work experience. This position will require that candidates be detail oriented and demonstrate a high level of accuracy, possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills, and have the ability to multi-task. Candidates must also have the ability to troubleshoot, maintain confidentiality, and be able to work both independently as well as the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Preference will be given to candidates with experience utilizing UltiPro.
