Franklin University is seeking an energetic and experienced academic leader to chair its B.S. Accounting Program. The Chair will provide leadership for the program and be responsible for academic quality in conjunction with program faculty members. Responsibilities will include course development, oversight of instruction quality, providing leadership to adjunct faculty for face-to-face and on-line courses, service on university committees, teaching, as well as programmatic, divisional, and university projects as needed. The Chair will also have primary responsibility for the program's assessment plan. Additionally, this individual will be the champion for the program and serve to maintain and strengthen relations with internal and external stakeholders.

The Program Chair position requires that applicants possess a doctorate in accounting or a closely related field; hold a specialization in taxation and professional certification in CPA are both required; have demonstrated 8+ year's professional industry experience that includes management decision making, and experience teaching working-adult students. Candidates that are ABD may be considered. Additionally, experience in an accounting or related program, supervising adjunct faculty and developing courses and program curriculum is preferred.
