Prospective Student Recruitment Representative
Franklin University has a full-time position available as a Prospective Student Recruitment Representative. This individual will serve as a valued member of the Admissions team and will be dedicated to the delivery of superior service in responding to student inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring the appropriate action is taken in a timely, honest, and professional manner. The Representative is responsible for the recruitment process in support of new student enrollment.
The Prospective Student Recruitment Representative will be the initial point of contact after a prospective student has filled out an inquiry form and will work to fully understand the individual’s unique needs and goals prior to them completing an application. The position involves extensive phone work but email, chat and text should also be expected to promptly address the individual's questions and provide accurate, timely information.
The Prospective Student Recruitment Representative will go through a formal training process to learn the programs Franklin offers and their requirements and will also receive training on the various systems used to house information on our prospective and current students.
Working hours include one day per week 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and one day per week 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. with the remaining work days from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
We seek someone with 2 years of previous customer service, call center, admissions or related experience with a minimum of a high school diploma. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position. The selected individual must be committed to student success, have high energy and motivation as well as be a strong communicator both over the phone and in written communications. Strong organization, prioritization, time management and follow-through skills are also required in order to be successful in this role. Prior experience in a college/university setting and with a CRM tool would be a plus in this position.
