PT Learning Commons Mathematics and Statistics Tutor
Franklin University seeks energetic, dependable, flexible, self-motivated candidates for the position of Math Tutor. The Learning Commons is looking to add qualified tutors to the staff of tutors. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a demonstrated proficiency in the intended subject area.
Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred. Candidate should be available to tutor online.
Requirements: Ideal candidate will have BS or higher in Mathematics or related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a demonstrated proficiency in the intended subject area, including pre-algebra, fundamental algebra, college algebra, discrete mathematics applied calculus and statistics. Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
Hours: Potential of up to 6-10 hours per week. Evening and some weekend availability required.
