Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator

Franklin University has a full-time position available as a Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator.  This individual is responsible for managing the adjunct recruiting and onboarding process with primary emphasis on managing adjunct employee data while preserving confidentiality.  Approximately 25% of their time will be spent supporting adjunct recruiting. The Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator also serves as the primary point of contact for all adjuncts and full-time faculty in relation to adjunct employment. 

Representative duties include launching new hire paperwork; conducting background checks; verifying transcripts, licenses and certifications; accurate I-9 completion; maintaining an onboarding tracker; creating and maintaining adjunct profiles in Colleague; working closely with the Center for Teaching Excellence to ensure smooth transition after adjunct onboarding has been completed; maintaining accurate physical and electronic personnel records based on Document Retention and Destruction policies; tracking metrics to continually evaluate and refine processes; designing and maintaining the intranet page for Adjunct Services and Operations; providing quality customer service and proactive communication to faculty members by anticipating needs and responding to inquiries; and providing ongoing support to adjunct faculty by partnering with other departments.

We seek someone with a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of prior human resources or administrative experience.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel, is required.  The selected individual must operate with a sense of urgency and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong data integrity are required.  We seek a customer service-oriented individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, organized and flexible for this position.  Prior recruiting experience would be a plus in this position.
