Franklin University has a full-time position available as a Registrar Specialist. This individual will be responsible for performing the day to day activities and operations of the Registrar’s Office. Representative duties include answering phones and providing instruction regarding requesting transcripts and other procedures; processing transcript requests and Add/Drop forms; composing certification and graduation letters that verify enrollment and degree information; entering and verifying grades and grade changes (onsite, online) and on the Earmy Portal; processing and supporting all aspects of graduation-related activities including attending all graduation ceremonies; assisting in the organization and performance of the graduation ceremony; supporting the processing of Clearinghouse reporting; processing Dean’s, President’s and Probation letters and supporting Course Schedule processes.
The position requires someone with a high school diploma or equivalent with a Bachelor’s degree being preferred. Highly developed customer service skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also required. We seek someone with strong attention to detail who is able to accurately process highly sensitive information in a timely manner for this position. Prior university or Registrar’s Office experience and experience using Colleague would be pluses in this position.
