Software Engineering SME

Franklin University has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist with development of curriculum for a new program track. The SME will be responsible for developing up to six software engineering course descriptions and mapping to program outcomes. The courses include calculus and software engineering practicums with labs.  In addition, the SME will develop the course syllabi including outcomes, preliminary books/articles, topic outline and at least one sample assessment (assignment) per course. 

Position Requirements: A Master's degree in a computer engineering discipline, software preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Participation in accreditation activities for agencies such as ABET preferred.  Prior teaching or instructional design experience at the university level is preferred.
