The Learning Commons Testing Center is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual for a part-time Test Proctor position for our testing office at the Main Campus, Downtown.
Primary responsibilities include; providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff who visit the LC, administering and proctoring tests, answering the telephone and responding to emails regarding the testing office, and other general administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Testing and Operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain insight and experience in higher education.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. This candidate must be able to work both as part of a team as well as independently, possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage time effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Must be proficient with the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, and have the ability to learn additional software applications.
The Testing Office is open Tuesday & Thursday 9 am – 8 pm, Wednesday 9 am – 6 pm, Friday 9 am – 4 pm, and Saturday 9 am – 3 pm. This position will work 15 hours a week, with the availability to work up to two evenings per week and up to two Saturdays a month.
