University Information Systems (UIS) Work Study Assistant

The University Information Systems (UIS) Work Study Assistant provides student information systems, database management, document management, customer relationship management, reporting, web development, and integration support for Franklin University.  UIS is currently looking for a student that is as passionate about Information systems as the UIS team.  The student should be familiar with SQL and ready to learn report development, integration services and other tools used by the University in support of its business operations.  The student will be working directly with end users of the UIS supported systems and will need to have strong customer service skills.

Duties include assisting with break/fix tickets, troubleshooting within current systems, testing of production ready applications, and account creations and terminations. The position will also assist with writing simple queries and development of reports.

Candidates must be current Franklin University student with Federal Work Study eligibility enrolled in a program that teaches or uses structured query language (SQL). Must possess a positive and professional attitude and the ability to communicate effectively. Customer-centered focus, strong ability to learn, and attention to detail is critical to the position.
