Franklin University has a full-time position available for a Windows Administrator. Responsibilities include administration, management, and troubleshooting of Windows Servers, Desktops, Office 365, technology implementations, system, network and data security, and On-Call responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Computer Science (or a related field) with 3 or more years of Microsoft technology experience above and beyond desktop administration.  Microsoft Certification is preferred.  Desired areas of experience include Active Directory and infrastructure services, Systems Center, Office 365 (Messaging, SharePoint, and Teams/Skype), and MSSQL.  A familiarity with server hardware, virtualization, commercial cloud services (e.g., AWS and Azure), federated authentication services, and PowerShell is desired and proficiency is a plus.  The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work within, support, and plan for enterprise applications in a highly available, multi-site environment.  The candidate should be prepared to come up to speed quickly and be comfortable in a multi-vendor (Linux, Windows, VMware, et al.) academic environment.
