Faculty Profile

Robert D'Andrea

Adjunct Faculty

In both my personal and professional life, I believe I demonstrate strong decision-making skills. As a Professional Association Diving Instructor, I routinely apply expert judgment to sound knowledge so as to assist people in experiencing the excitement, adventure, and challenge of learning to dive. Relying on deduction and intuition, I must problem solve quickly, often under circumstances that are not black or white. In my 36 years of work experience as a software and hardware engineer for AT&T Bell Laboratories, for Applied Innovation, and as an independent consultant, I have assessed countless situations and reached viable conclusions. With my Master's Degree in computer science, I have taught (and still do) as an adjunct faculty member at Franklin University where I navigate students through the waters of higher education in my computer science and network design classes. As the sole proprietor of D'Andrea Builders, and owner/manager of Ohio Quality Rentals, LLC, I consistently dive deeper into my businesses in order to assure the best outcome for all those involved. In short, my skill set should prove to be an asset to the Board.
