If anyone knows privacy laws, it's healthcare professionals! As healthcare is continually innovating to better patient outcomes, how can the industry balance compliance and risk with innovation? How does cybersecurity work in a hospital environment? During this discussion, we will explore the unique challenges the healthcare industry faces trying to balance being innovative and nimble with the current cybersecurity landscape and ever increasing regulatory environment.

Speaker: Michael Iozzi, Information Security & Risk Manager, Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Michael has 15 years of information security experience in the financial and healthcare sectors. In his current role, Michael manages a team of cybersecurity professionals in a hospital setting focused on information governance, risk management, compliance management, incident response, awareness training and disaster recovery. Michael received his B.A. in Management Information Systems from Miami University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
