Franklin University College of Health & Public Administration Hosts Second Annual Evening of Excellence

Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults is proud to announce the recognition of 40 students in the College of Health & Public Administration (COHPA) as part of the second annual Evening of Excellence event.  The event, held Wednesday, Nov. 4 honored students from academic disciplines within COHPA who met the academic requirements for their specified programs through the induction into the honor society of their major.

Joining faculty, staff and alumni of COHPA for the evening was keynote speaker Christina Miller, Medicaid Systems Administrator, Ohio Department of Aging.  Joann Davidson, former Speaker for the Ohio House of Representatives and Franklin University Board of Trustees member, also joined the evening’s recognition to present the first annual Joann Davidson Outstanding Leadership in Public Administration scholarship to public administration student Kim Miller.

This year’s Evening of Excellence recognized students in healthcare management, master in healthcare administration, nursing, criminal justice, undergraduate and graduate public administration, public safety management, emergency management and homeland security programs through the following honor societies:
