“National Church Residences is committed to providing our staff with the training and education they need to succeed and to develop their careers with us. That’s why we offer more than 1,000 unique, engaging courses based on the best of adult learning principles through National Church Residences University (NCRU),” said Julie Fox, Vice President of Education at the organization. “This investment in education continues with our new partnership with Franklin University. Many courses available through NCRU have been approved for credit transfer and can be applied to several different certificate and degree pathways.”
Through today’s announcement, National Church Residences’ employees — more than 3,300 working in more than 340 communities in 28 states— are eligible for tuition benefits from Franklin University through this new agreement. Formalization of this partnership provides the not-for-profit organization’s employees with the benefit of earning college credit for training already completed through the organization’s University, in addition to tuition benefits.
"We are honored to partner with National Church Residences to offer the opportunity for their employees to continue their education," said Dr. Les King, Dean, College of Health and Public Administration, Franklin University. “Through academic partnerships, Franklin University can develop employees from within a company with the added benefit of preparing that company’s workforces to lead their organizations forward into a competitive market."
