Columbus, OH (May 18, 2020)

Ohio’s #1 nonprofit university for online degrees, Franklin University has built its reputation on providing the academic offerings and resources necessary to support the broadest community of learners to achieve their goals. Continuing in this tradition, Franklin University is pleased to announce the Franklin University Tuition Guarantee. The guarantee provides a fixed tuition rate from first term to graduation for associate, bachelor’ and master’s degree-seeking students. This transparency enables students to confidently plan the costs associated with earning or finishing a degree.

“A college degree has become a necessity for individual economic opportunity and America's competitiveness in the global economy,” shared Dr. David Decker, president of Franklin University. “Combined with last year’s tuition reduction and our long-standing generous transfer credit policy, Franklin’s tuition guarantee is one more example of how the University is keeping a degree within reach.

The Franklin University Tuition Guarantee is another facet of Franklin’s assurance to keeping education affordable for students by enabling students to accurately anticipate tuition costs over the course of an entire degree program. In addition to motivating students to stay on course toward degree completion, the guarantee helps students minimize their out-of-pocket costs. This rate locks-in at the time of the student’s initial registration and remains constant as long as the student maintains active enrollment status.

The tuition guarantee applies to the standard per credit hour rate. Current or continuing Franklin students enrolled prior to the Fall 2020 term will lock-in at the 2019-20 rate. New students lock-in to the tuition rate that is in effect during the term they first register for classes. To maintain the guaranteed rate, students must remain actively enrolled as defined in Franklin University’s Academic Catalog by completing at least one trimester per year.

By locking-in tuition rates for associate, bachelor’ and master’s degree-seeking students, Franklin continues to strengthen its loyalty to students by making college more accessible and affordable, like it has done since 1902.
