Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults, is pleased to announce the launch of its training and development initiative for Kohl’s e-commerce fulfillment center, a recent addition to the region’s economic base located in Etna, Ohio.  Franklin University was selected by One Columbus and JobsOhio to develop these services for Kohl’s based on their seven decades of helping to create workforce impact through education and training.

The key to any organization’s success is its employees. Employee success was a very important factor to Kohl’s as they launched their new Etna fulfillment center with a focus on its e-commerce model.  Leveraging Kohl’s great training foundation, Franklin produced learning templates and content as training resources to support Kohl’s culture and talent development strategies.

This new training development is led by Franklin University as a four-part educational leadership series that will be delivered over the next year and was born out of a partnership with Kohl’s and JobsOhio to bring more jobs to the area. Training will focus on: employee motivation and engagement, servant leadership, employee wellbeing, and communication – with topics that aid in areas such as, interpersonal relationships and time management at home.

Through today’s announcement and its dedicated efforts, Franklin University and JobsOhio reinforce their commitment to the community, through lifelong learning and workforce development. Kohl’s received Talent Acquisition Services support from JobsOhio to help companies address talent challenges and build sustainable talent strategies.
